Beta terms
Last updated 26 October 2026
Thank you for testing ScriptyDo. These short terms add to the Terms of Service while ScriptyDo is in beta. If the two disagree, these apply to the beta.
1. What to expect
- ScriptyDo is still being built. Things will sometimes break, look rough, run slowly or change from one day to the next.
- Keep your own copy of any script you upload. Your work is stored safely, but please don't make ScriptyDo the only place it lives yet.
- We may add, change or remove features, reset beta-only settings, or pause the beta, and we'll tell you when we can.
2. Free beta tokens
- Testers get free tokens with their invite and welcome allowance. Buying tokens is switched off during the beta.
- Beta tokens have no cash value and can't be refunded, sold or transferred.
- We may top them up, change the amount, or remove tokens that were collected unfairly. When the beta ends we'll say what happens to any you have left before it happens.
3. Feedback
The Report a bug button sends us what you write, the page you were on and the app version. Now and then we'll ask one quick question, such as how a finished read sounded; answering is optional. During the beta we also count which steps of the app you reach, as the Privacy Policy explains, so we can tell whether each update helps. Ideas and suggestions you send are covered by section 8 of the Terms: we may use them to improve ScriptyDo, and that never covers your scripts or audio.
4. Keep it to yourself, if you can
Your invite is personal, so please don't pass it on. You're welcome to talk about ScriptyDo, but please don't publish screenshots or recordings of unfinished features without asking us first; it helps us show the finished thing at its best.
5. Leaving the beta
You can stop at any time. To delete your account and everything in it, use Delete my account in the account menu, or email info@theindigoexchange.com. The Privacy Policy says how quickly it's removed.
6. When the beta ends
These beta terms end when we announce that the beta is over; the Terms of Service keep applying. Disputes about the beta are handled as section 13 of the Terms describes, under Maryland law.
